The Saucy Sow Hog Roast Company is a family managed Berkshire based company.
Back in March 2014 we created the original brand and .html website for The Saucy Sow Hog Roast Company. Since then it got bought out by a new owner who kept everything the same but asked us to update the contact details, which of course we did. Now in 2017 the Saucy Sow Hog Roast Company has once again changed hands into new ownership. The new owner James Sheridan (a very highly regarded Chef in London) approach us to make some further changes to the site. After a brief discussion he told us that he also wanted to go for a different clientele than the Saucy Sow had. We recommended a re-brand and new fully responsive website and after chatting further and approving the quote, we got to work.
We provided our usual first round of drafts for the new brand based on James’s brief to appeal to a London audience. After several too’ing and froo’ing we reached a final solution.
Once the branding was complete we then put together the designs for the stationery
We then started work on designing the home page to incorporate the new brand and reflect that within the design. The design was made to be much more chic and stylish and aimed at a specific audience. Once the home page design was approved by the client we then designed the rest of the content utilising the existing content which was then updated once the rest of the site was developed and the client could see everything via our development URL. The site was then made fully responsive once all the content was approved and we were ready for making live. Uploading the site to the main domain we then give the site a final check over, made a few tweaks and created an initial launch blog together with the launch SEO that we always do to get the site noticed. All that was left to do was pump it out across our social media accounts.
The feedback from James was so great that he then immediately asked us to create a banner for him, which we designed at 10ft x 4ft, printed by our local supplier at Premier Print and delivered to the client within 3 working days to be ready for a London Market gig on the Saturday. Following that we also designed a double sided A5 flyer which was also printed at Premier Print.
We have thoroughly enjoyed this project, creating everything from start to finish to re-launch the business and it has been a pleasure to work with James and we hope to continue long into the future as The Saucy Sow Hog Roast business succeeds.
